Chinook Camping
what should i pack in my bergan and webbing for a weekend air cadet camp?
I am going away for a weekend to Perbright Army Base in Camberly with 2412 sqn in Bordon. We are being taken their by Chinook. The first night we are sleeping in an 12 by 12 tent and the next day we are doing stuff to do with weapons and a vehicle ambush. The following night we are doing a night exercise so I wont get much sleep. I have a list from the sqn of what to take, but I was wondering whether there was anything else that I should take from any one else’s personal experiences?

im going on a night exercise on monday tuesday then another on wednesday friday and this is my basic complete list:
boots
mess tins
24 hour ration packs
teranga (where you burn solid fuel)
hexamine
drill kit e.g boot polish etc and drill clothing
dpm’s (combats)
Hygiene kit e.g. soap and tooth brush and paste
basher (canvass sheet)
string
knife
cutlery
water bottles x2
mug
waterproofs
body warmer
i think thats the bulk but you will proberly think of others
